Marcus is always informative . Maybe a tad bit repetitive but still very informative. I always learn or gain something from his interview . Especially those with bass in hand. He would make a great instructor.

I would have liked to have heard his Fender and not just the Sire.

Marcus Miller is a great businessman, he still plays his Fender, but he sells Sire.

It was a really great interview.

SW: “Marcus, can I call you Marcus?, you’re pretty good at bass stuff”.

MM: “Thanks, you guys sell bass stuff, right?”

SW: “That’s right, basses and amps and accessories.”

    MM: “Cool, cool.”

    SW: “Thanks”.

    MM: “Cool”.

    SW: “Cool”.

    MM: “Thanks for having me.”

    SW: “Any time.”

Marcus has actual musical language as opposed to a collection of bass licks probably due to him starting out studying classical bass clarinet.

I really like this interview, I think Marcus is the best teacher and bassist I have ever heard.

I noticed his Sire vintage V7 was made some mod. He changed the original bridge and the tuning keys. Can somebody tell me what kind of bridge and tuning keys these? Unfortunately I can't find out it.
