Just took delivery of an Epi 20th Anniversary Jack Casady Bass. Aside from the coolness of the bass, I just gotta give a kudos to Sweetwater! They have become my retail vendor of choice now. Customer service is great, they follow up with a call, and I get a bag of candy in each order, even if it's just a 1/4" Switchcraft jack. All this tells me they want to go the extra mile to make sure I am 100% satisfied with my order.
Oh yeah, the bass is a killer! Their free shipping got it to me the next day! (That's almost too fast as I hadn't yet figured out how to sneak it into my collection.) For safety and security with expensive items, I have been asking sellers, whether it's here, Reverb, ebay, whatever, to ship to the FedEx Print/Ship Center near my home. As I was asking Sweetwater about changing my 'ship to' address to that, they told me they actually recommend to customers to consider doing exactly that for orders over $300 or if they are large in size.
