Has anyone installed a tweeter switch or L-Pad in their Ampeg BA-115?
If so how and where did you mount it?
Seems as though the cab is 1/2" throughout and sealed (except for the ports), it would take at least 1/2" thread length on the switch or L-Pad and location could be tricky.
I would use the "tweeter-on" option when using the CD inputs for break music.
Don't have a problem with the infamous Ampeg 115 hiss, probably because my hearing is shot on the high freqs, but it does sound a ton better IMHO with the tweeter and recorded music.
Also, does anyone know if the 115 uses a crossover network, or just parallels the tweeter with the woofer and lets the piezo do the high freq. thing?
Anyone?
