switching project , help .

Sometimes i thought about having lots of different pickup combination in the littlest possible space , so I thought an idea but I don't if it is possible :
-connect the poickup wires to a board that is connected to a rotary switch that could combine pickup and I can change configuration just moving the switch ; is it possible ? If yes how ? Thankyou lowenders.

Not only doable, it's been done. Gibson employed a rotary switch for various pickup combinations (it's not a varitone as many people think) on their Ripper. And PRS uses a rotary pickup selector on some of their guitars.

A quick google for "rotary pickup selector switch" will spot you dozens of wiring diagrams. There's also been some discussions about them here at TB. Use the site's search engine to find them.

Happy wiring!
