swr bass 750 @ 2.67ohms?

i just recently pickup up a second peavey 410 txf to go along with my original one. the original one i blew my speakers and replaced them with eminence ca-2010 and wired it for 8 ohms. that was fine cause my 115 extension speaker was 8 ohms also and it ran my amp at 4ohms. now this second 410 cab is 4 ohms bringing my 810 to 2.67 ohms. now the manual says it can handle that low of a load(lol) but how reliable is it? can i really push it at shows and not worry about it overheating? or should i find different speakers since matching ohms is the "best" thing to do?

The head can handle it just fine, the issue you should be concerned with is unequal power sharing between the cabs. The low impedance cab is going to see more power than the higher, so one 4x10 is going to see double the power that the other one sees.

If you're stacking, I'd make sure the one on top is the 4 ohm cab, that way you get more volume at ear level.

Though the manual indicates that 2.6 Ω min. is kosher I'm of the view that consistently pushing an amp to it's limit will shorten its service life.

If I could afford two 8 Ω cabs then I'd get them for the peace-of-mind alone.

+1 for all the reasons above- the mismatch is bad enough, but constantly pushing an amp that hard will certainly decrease it's life span.
