Does anyone have any experience with the Invalid Link Removed? This seems to be one of the smallest in size and light weight 4x10's on the market right now. Thinking about getting one to use with a GK 1001RB-II head. If anyone has used one of these cabs I would appreciate you thoughts.

SWR golight 4X10 Bass Cabinet

For whatever reason it seems like these cabs aren't discussed very often.
I have the Marcus version that I bought as a b-stock from Musician's Friend. I like it.
Weighs 55 lbs so I can lift it on my own, fits in the back of my Jeep, and sounds good with the variety of amps I've used with it. The only problems I've had so far have been minor - one of the castors became slightly bent and one of the corner protectors cracked. I haven't babied it, but I haven't subjected it to any unnecessary abuse other than the typical load in. In any case, it works for me. Plenty loud, rated up to 800 watts power handling. One thing I like about the MM version is that it's 4 ohm. I think you can get the regular ported version in 4 ohm too.

Great response over full frequency range. BIG low end when pushed, and plenty of grunt with 800W at its disposal. Very clear sound reproduction and punchy. I play through a Hartke 3500 which has a 10 band EQ so I've played with the frequencies at volume. Tweeter sounds good too, clear and not harsh. And attenuator dial is big and easy to use.
And of course it is light. The only complaint is that the carpet roughs up easily. It's also pretty deep which makes it a little tricky to maneuvre into the back seat of my car - but being light this makes it not too big a deal.
Quality seems to be good (except the carpet) and it's a strong sturdy unit. And it looks great too. Very happy with the purchase, pricey though.

I have two of them, one was purchased in the early 90's & got another one about 7 years ago. Great cabs both are 8 ohms, no complaints and light weight.
You might be talking about the Goliath cab? Don't think the GoLight stuff has been out that long. Released at Winter NAMM 2009??

I have a 8 ohm non-MM Golight 4x10 and agree with Cartoonist's comments. It's the best 4x10 I've played through for a clean, punchy tone (IMO) and it likes to be pushed. The rat fur is, well, a pain. And the cab is deep, so even though it's light it is bulky. I also have the Golight 1x15. Obviously a different sound and can't handle the load the 4x10 can, but also a very nice cab (and lighter/smaller!) which is perfect for smaller gigs for me.
I have a 4x10 golight cab. I haven't used it almost a year, i guess. I did like the sound and the weight. Right now, I'm using a Dr Bass 2x12 neo cab which is pretty kool too. Since my sound guy is carrying my amp, i have not used the golight. I may switch it out soon and start using it again for a while.
I use one or a pair of Golight Jr 2x10s. I used to have the MM 4x10 which was nice too. I wanted something lighter and more modular so I went to the 2x10s. The rat furr is a pain, but I like the cabs a lot. I've been through a few different 10 based cabs and I always come back to these.
