SWR Marcus Miller M2 Preamp problem.

I got my M2 preamp in July or so and have had no probs til tonight when it suddenly died on me.

It powers up now, all the lights run, the compressor lights up but nothing comes out of the output stage either to the power amp out or to the DI. if I crank the pregain I can hear it fart out of the speakers a tiny bit but but that's it.

The Peavey ipr 3000 dsp I'm running for power works fine as I can run out of my GT10B into it and get sound so that's not the issue here.

Anyone else have any issues with their M2?

I had issues with my last two with similar problems. I returned mine to the dealer that normally does simple repairs and they sent it back and replaced it with another unit ,twice.
I eventually moved on to Genz Benz.

Oi :p :help: Apologies for the troubles, thanks for staying friendly..?;)

To the OP:
Follow these steps:
plug straight into the aux in or fx return in to bypass the preamp tube, if you hear sound then the tube went bad.
If no sound/ the same then double check batteries, cables, cable ends, etc.
If still no sound then return to dealer or call Fender CS.

Thanks Hapa, I'll try that this morning.

Last night while trying to make some sense of it I turned the fx blend all the way off several times and had nothing coming out.

I usually plug into the input on the back as well.

Thanks.

I hope it all works out as I LOVE the tone from the M2 (it's dangerous).
