swr megoliath

$350 would be a steal. $500 I think would be about right. Those cabs sold for $1500 new. I have two of them 
I bought and later resold mine for $750. It was in flawless condition with a dust cover.

Price quotes are for supporting members. 
That is a fair price, I'd always offer on the low end when buying used cabinets. Used cabinets are a pain to sell so you can usually get a smokin deal on them.
If you want a light cab, look elsewhere. They aren't as bad as Basson but they aren't using neo's either.

The Megoliath is like 180lbs. There is no mistaking the weight. Maybe there is some confusion about what cab he's really selling.

It's a truly epic sounding cab, pure earthquake generator with punch and detail. Like it fills the air with earthquake and makes everything within a large radius rattle. Highly recommended. I am pretty sure it devastates almost any other fridge you can buy.
No way that a Megoliath is 180 lbs, I had one and I believe it weighed in around 110-120 lbs tops. Great cab but since it's SWR it'll have a very clean sound, and since it's ported it won't be as focused and slightly-muddy as an Ampeg 8x10.
One thing to keep in mind is that since SWR is out of business, it will become increasingly difficult to get replacement parts. I had to buy replacement casters from Fender to replace the ones on my previous Megoliath and the rep on the phone said that they only had about 14 casters left total for the Megoliath.

Sold mine used in Canada here for $900. Awesome cab not much can compare to it as far as 810's go. Only reason I sold it was a got a fEARful 1515/66/1 which is a whole different beast unto it's own..... If there was no such thing as a fEARful 66 I would still have it! If I could find one for $400 I would buy it just cause I know I could sell it for double that up here.

There was one on CL in Los Angeles, brand new for $400 or $450. Owner was an ex-employee of SWR and just wanted to make some room.
Saw him post it several times over the course of a few months; eventually I think he sold it as it disappeared, but at that point it was listed at $400.
I've seen a few posted much higher, in the $700+ range, those appeared to sell after a while as well.
TL;DR - $400 for one in really good condition seems to be the bottom range of what you can expect to pay. Anything lower and you are honestly getting a great deal.
