Just got my hands on a this SWR Mini Mo preamp,it is a like new,one owner,kept in studio piece,that I am interested in playing around with.I want to run it with my Genz Benz Streamliner amp but I am not quite sure of the best way to hook it up to get what I want out of it.I really don't want or need the SWR tube preamp section for tonal enhancement,as I am totally satisfied with the big tubey tone of the Streamliner.I would like to explore the effects section though and I am not quite sure if it should/could be in front of the Streamliner or an effects loop setup.Need some help here,thanks.

SWR Mini Mo Bass Effects/Preamp question

Depends, if the unit has a line level output, it would work in the amps fx loop, if it's instrument level, better in front of the amp.
