SWR Workingman's 15 schematic

Hi,

Anyone have a schematic for the SWR Workingman's 15?

Amp has an intermittent fault where it blows fuses when the chassis is tapped. Of course, now that it is out of the cabinet, it blows fuses all the time. No visible or obvious component faults, power transistors not shorted, neither is bridge or filter caps.

Need the schematic so I can logically troubleshoot this one. Hope someone can help. Please send the schematic to my Email box.

Hi.

I doubt that You'll find one.

But if You do, please send me a copy too .

All may not be lost though. IIRC WM10 uses a generic circuit straight out of TDA spec sheet. If You can identify the hybrid chip (if WM15 uses one/a pair), there's a chance that you'll find a close enough schematic from the manufacturers site.

SWR support will e-mail you one right away at no charge.

E-mailing schematics is about all the customer support they consistently do, though they may send you one the wrong model a few times first.

Never in a million years would've I thought of that possibility. The SWR/Fender CS just SUCKS in general.

They are usually hopeless for anything, but they'll send you schematics all day. Might take four tries to get the one you actually asked for, but they have it and if you keep trying, you'll eventually get it.

They have all of 'em, too, clear back to the earliest models.
