SX Bridge Issue

Intonating the E string on my sx short scale is impossible because there is no more room to crank the saddle further back. Thinking I need to mount the brigde about 1/4 inch back. Anyone else have this experience - had to move it further back???

Sort of. I did have an SX Jazz that had the bridge improperly mounted (misaligned over the pole pieces). I had to remove it and move it back so I could redrill it without screwing with the original holes. It intonated just fine.

I'm sure that if I had contacted Kurt at Rondo, he would have taken it back.
