Just wondering if anyone from this forum was planning on attending and/or performing at South by SouthWest this year in Austin Texas? I will be there and would like to see some great bassist in action. Please include the venue and timeslot of your show. I hope to meet some of you there.

I haven't posted much, but I'm a long-time lurker...and I played on Friday night. It was fun--my upright's first venture out into a club after spending a week getting extensive cosmetic surgery.

We tore it up at Coyote Ugly, and a few Important People were impressed....keep your fingers crossed for us....

We Had 2 pretty good gigs at SXSW. Both on Saturday with one at the Yard Dog Gallery and the other at the Cactus Cafe. It was my first time and I enjoyed being there.
