We just found out yesterday my band got into SXSW - curious if you're going to be down there at all.

On a semirelated note (just in the way that they will be there and also i didnt want to make another thread) I know you were involved with the Blood Orange album, what what your role in it?

No SXSW for me, I'm bloody swamped here on projects in LA. New Beck album(s), mixing Neon Trees, other stuff. Have fun down there. It's crazy and rad.

I played the bass on the new Blood Orange. Dope record.

I really dig the Blood Orange album a lot. I'm really hoping to make it out to see them (him? Them?) if scheduling works out.

If you were going is there anybody you know who should be checked out? I'll probably just wander into random shows but I'm trying to see if there are some standout people I should try to see.

I just joined this band six months ago, but they went down with their old bassist last year. Said it was crazy but I don't really know what to expect
