Sync iPhone app with Talkbass

Yes, me too but on the computer. I'm referring on the phone. Why would anyone want to open in the browser when having the app? Doesn't make sense to me.

Well, I much prefer the mobile browser over the app, now that TalkBass is responsive. You won't get any advanced features in the app, like classifieds fields, thumbnails, media gallery, etc. The app only recognizes default xenforo functionality, none of the custom addons we have.

I have no knowledge of how to send a user to the app only if they have the app installed.

Understood. Thanks Paul

FWIW, Android phones seem to give a prompt, asking you where you'd like to open a link to TalkBass (in the app or in your browser). And you can tell it where to open TB links in the future. At least it does on my Android emulator (I don't have an android phone). But that's Android-specific; as far as I know iOS doesn't have this feature.

That´s right, that´s why I asked. ;)
