I'm fairly new to bass playing and I was wondering what kind of synth pedels there are out there and perhaps a quick bit of info about what each one does. Im looking for the sound that comes out of paige haley's base during the secret song on vapor transmission, if any body know what I'm talking about.

Hey man,
Welcome to the forum. Up in the right hand corner there should be a search function. Have a look under synths for starters. After that try, deep impact, korg g5, digitech synth wah, boss bass synth- for starters, there's an ibanez one and an electro harmonix one to but I don;t remember their names of the top of my head..
There's not much I can write about them that hasn't been covered in the last 6 months. Happy hunting.

Korg G5, Deep Impact are the best ones IMO. Unfortunately, both are discontinued. There are others as dirtgroove said. If you search you'll find pages and pages of threads discussing these pedals. That's a great place to start
