I’ve got one with the “barn door” Fishman Prefix+, and I’m very happy to have gotten that version as I’ve had a lot of problems with the stock Fishman undersaddle transducer not picking up my B and G strings. The Fishman representative told me that if all else fails they can make me a custom transducer for this bass, hoping that it works out because I’d hate to be unable to plug this bass in for “unplugged” gigs.

Anybody here with a Thunderchief and a K&K, can you clarify if there was room under the bridge plate/under the bridge saddle for the KNK elements or if you had to put them elsewhere under the body? My tech is trying to install one of these right now for me and says there's not enough room on the bridge plate, anywhere near where the jig would place them. But I know from Talkbass there's a lot of guys using thunderchiefs with K&K pure Bass so I'm just trying to figure out what gives/what to do
