I’m not always sitting in front of a computer monitor. I’m on the go most of the time.
The app is not to make TB better.. TB is perfect the way it is.
An app would be optimised for cell phone screens. I use an iphone 7+ with a 5.5” screen but not everyone is lucky enough to have access to a large screen phone like I do.
Last but not least, this is 2018 and everyone has an app, it’s just good sense to have a dedicated app.

I haven't used talkbass on an actual computer in several years. I'm on a pixel with a 5'' screen. It works great. There was an app but it wasn't better than the browser.
Ok well to each their own. I think a dedicated app would be good for many reasons.

Browsers are open to random hacker attacks, trojans etc; whereas an app is not.

The occasional pop ups are annoying but not bad. Not against the app, but the browser does exactly what I want it to and the app that did exist wasn't good. I'd try a new one but this is fine for me. Have you tried different themes?
It works well in my phone too.. there are themes ? No I didn’t know about that. I’m not 100% on the inability to hack an app neither.. so I’m just thinking for younger people.. everyone I meet anymore asks “is there an app for that”..

Hey you'r kinda new here. Welcome to TalkBass!!!!
We had lne briefly. This is jist my opinion, but I didn't like it nearly as much as using the "Dark" theme in Chrome on my Galaxy S8. One way apps make for a "cleaner" look is by removing a lot of options that the web site has on every screen. I like having thos options.
