TalkBass Forums app?

I found an app in the Droid Marketplace today called TalkBass Forums. It comes from End of Time Studios, LLC.

Is this an "official" app from TalkBass?

It sure seems to work great so far for the 30 minutes I have been using it.

It crashed once while changing orientation after hitting login, but seems pretty cool so far

Yup that's it and I'm glad it's working so far. The iPhone version is being 'approved' by Apple now, and should be live in a week or so. We'll make the 'official' announcement when both apps are live. The Android version is newer and thus there may be a few bugs as you've mentioned.

No. It doesn't work on Droid.

Someone explain how this works for those of us that have only phone call capability on our cellphones?

This particular app is for smartphones running the android or iPhone operating systems. If you have one of these, but don't have data service (that's a shame) but it will work when you're connected to wifi.
