OK gang, I want to do a Q&A - no video ;).

Here's how it works.
1) Question is asked.
2) Reply to question.
3) Post new question.
4) Repeat 2 & 3 ad nauseum.

A few rules:
1) Adhere to the TalkBass Rules section. No question or answer provided should give reason for thread lock or profile bannings.
2) You can't answer your own question...
3) No troll questions or answers. Having fun is part of the game, but let's avoid recycling the same boring jokes and memes. We all know the answer to the "best bass for metal" question. :spam:

Suggested topics:

Science
Art and Culture
Social studies
History

Have fun!

Question 1:
What propelled Pink Floyd to fame?

What's the best power cord for metal?

These are the best power cords, no matter if you're working on metal, wood, or whatever material.

First of all, the ground prong needs to go in before the live and neutral sockets will even open.
Secondly, it's got a fused plug, extra protection from circuit overload.
Unfortunately, you have to live in the UK to take advantage of these great power cords.
