The year is 2050. Over the last 30 years the site has had many up’s and downs.
In 2025 because of its popularity the site was offered to be purchased by CBS. The amount was irresistible and was sold. Paul though and his merry mod’s was offered a CBS Prime Time game show called “Your Banned”
The show included very subjective questions like “What’s the best bass for Metal”, “What kind of strings should you buy for a Jazz bass” and “Is it okay to wear shorts on stage”. As there were no right or wrong and very confusing answers, the show lost popularity and was cancelled after the 1st season.
Meanwhile, the site was losing popularity as a new group of mod’s took over banning 90% of its original members. Leaving only guitarist and drummers that played bass as a novelty. With topics such as “Do you think Spandex and Big Hair will ever be popular again” and “What is this music called Jazz thing all about”……the site was in shambles
Paul though with his new found popularity, had decided to run for the president of the United States. But with campaign slogans as “I will fight for more sticky’s to combat the troll’s” the people were confused and not sure what he meant. Paul sadly lost to Justin Bieber for the nomination.
A movement across the nation though was formed as bassist from all over marched on Capitol Hill yelling “Bassist have rights to” and “We need more Low End”
At this time though the TB site had all but a handful of members and CBS decided to sell it for $10 bucks.
Starving bassist around the world vowed to save the money and gathered a collection to repurchase the site.
After only a few months the money was collected. The site was then purchased and finally brought back to its original glory…..Bassist around the world cheered!!! And lived happily ever after.
