Tapewounds - La Bella 760N & D'Addario comparison request.

I've tried the La Bella 760N Black Tapewounds, and like them a lot, if only they were a little less 'floppy' (for want of better words). Anyone who has also tried the D'addarios care to comment? TIA

I've tried both, on both electric and ABG. They feel pretty similar in tension to me. But I'm used to flats so almost anything else feels floppy to me.
FWIW, I preferred the "feel" of the Labella's but like the tone of the D'Addarios a little more. Especially on ABG.

My fault, I should've been clearer. I have a bass with TI flats and the Labellas feel lighter/looser.

I run LaBella Black Nylon Tape wound strings on 3 of my 5 basses.
I don’t find them floppy at all. Mine are all 5 string basses. Not sure if that makes a difference

If the basses are 35" scale there would be a difference. I guess 'floppy' is an exaggeration to try a convey what I meant. I'd just prefer them to feel a little tighter, but I still really like them and they have great clarity.

I'm super in love with D'addario tapewounds. I just bought my 3rd set this year yesterday, they should arrive tomorrow.
I guess I've broken up with Chromes.
Chromes have plenty of lovers, they won't be brokenhearted.

That's true for the 750N's, but not the 760N's, IME.

FWIW, I had LaBella black tapewound flats on a 1965 Jazz bass and a 1972 Telecaster bass for years and liked them. More recently I tried the LaBella 750C Copper White tapewound flats on my Guild B-30 and USA Lakland Hollowbody and prefer the Copper's greater definition (less thud/mud) than the black flats.
