I just picked up this little mic gadget for recording practices with my older iPad. It sounds good and is super easy to use. It's for reference only, so high quality isn't the aim, merely good enough.
I've referred to the GarageBand tutorial but it seems geared towards iMac usage and not iPad. It's not clear to me what isn't included in the iPad version.
What format are iPad-based GarageBand files? Are they heavily compressed? I'm trying to determine how much memory space I can expect to use per recording.
Any other tips on recording with this setup are welcome.
