likes? dislikes? if you own it or have used it can you plz help me decide if i should get it, i am a newbie at recording. I also need some explaining on how it works, i think it as of this:
1. record your first track (track one)
2. rewind and play over track one with track two
3. repeat until all 4 are filled
is that it? can you hear the other tracks being played while you are playing on a different track? can you go back and erase a track or is it permanent? If you dont like what you recorded on lets say track 4 and you already have all 3 in perfection, can you erase 4 and go over it? thanks for the help

and it says that i need a mixer to show them my work as a whole. what is a mixer and how much will it cost? is it already in here, im confused!?
EDIT (AGAIN): what about the Tascam Porta02 mkII? i heard that the MF-PO1 is awfully quiet, will this improve for an extra 50 bucks? can someone compare them or something plz!
