Tascam US-122 to Recording Software. Help me!!

Hello. Recently, I bought myself a tascam US-122 usb interface device. I know it works because I checked with the chromatic tuner in the drivers. I can't get it to work. I am using Sonar 4 Producer Edition, Cakewalk Home Studio, Finale 2006alpha, and Cubase SX 3. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can someone give me some kind of a walkthrough on what to do? I don't want to have to use the version of Cubasis that it comes with, though. Thanks.

You have almost $1000 tied up in software and none of it works with the Tascam?

Try going into the settings and selecting the input device.

Actually like 100. Me and my friends lend each other our pieces of software, so no. And I tried changing the inputs, but then it totally freaks out and I have to reboot my comp. to make the sound work for anything.
