Ha! A forum I used to go to would let you earn forum currency and exchange for profile flair. It was pretty funny, you'd see guys sporting cool little badges and stuff. It was this old Pokemon site...

TB used to have it's own app. Then they announced some issues with the maker, and went down for a little bit. When it came back browser only, is when it added the feature. I wanna say it was summer of 2013?

Edit: I stand corrected .. the app went away Dec '15

Yeah they dropped TapaTalk (perhaps that's what you're referring to). Wish they supported it.
