Hello!

I thought why not start a thread where my fellow TBer's can post their own videos of them playing bass!
I just would love to see all the bass players on here upload videos (or audio files) of themselves playing because well...this is a forum site for people who play bass so why not have them post videos of them playing!

I have included mine in previous threads, but I'll post some of them here as well!

Now please, go upload some videos or make some audio track of you playing bass!
There is no such thing as "terrible" or "crappy" playing so don't be discouraged because I don't sound all that great, but would love to share my bass playing skills with everyone on here and possibly have people tell me what I need to work on or what maybe you need to work on!

Absolutely no bashing or "putting down" other bassists by rude remarks on how bad there bass playing is, only positive critiquing is allowed!

I really love your bass playing. I might go ahead and post a video in a little bit! Again really like the way you play.
Thanks so much!!!
I can't wait to hear you play, so glad to hear your interested in uploading a video too!
And the fact your a girl (like me) is even better because I rarely meet other cool female bassists on this site, so it's quite refreshing to meet you!

Damn you're funky as hell! And pretty good too! I wish I had your kinda groove.

Some friends and I jamming out before a Royal Blood show. BTW Royal Blood was freaking awesome. Warning, guitar heavy. He did the mix and it's all his equipment. Literally all of it lol :greedy:

Thank you very much man and you guys sound great!
I like your sound and style, the groove is great and you sound awesome!
Dang, do you guys have any music out?

Thanks and you as well. I'm kinda stepping away from the Funk thing right now focusing on a wide range of music. I have some Latin stuff coming up soon and some slap tunes. Stay tuned.
That's great to hear, I've been trying to do the same thing from Rock to Classical, anything I don't really listen to!

Nice. By the way, what is your video/recording setup? I've just been using a vidcam and transferring the video to my computer. I'd like to record everything directly onto my pc at some point.
I just bought some $5 bass guitar interface off of eBay, it's real cheap and made in China but it does the job. I got to get a better one though because I think it's starting to break down. Any who, I use garageband to record while Photo Booth films me. Then I grab the recorded audio of my bass from garageband and combine it with the video using iMovie. Sometimes it takes me forever to sync the video and audio together, but in the end it works out fine. I'll usually jam with my guitar through either my Vox bass amplug or Garageband, haven't touched my Fender Rumble 15 amp since I left my dorm in like February! lol
Thanks for the compliment to man, your great yourself!
Much love!

Sounding good, as usual, funkstar, right and lefty.:)

I started playing with a couple of younger guys recently doing eclectic originals. They wanted some oddball covers to sprinkle in. Here's our first try on this one. Didn't realize the guitarist wasn't going to play any lead in the middle so there's me trying figure out something to do for 96 bars of Em to C.
