TB Bass Playing Video/Audio Thread For All TB Members!

Nice, you should try uploading some bass covers!

And here's another video I uploaded this morning, sorry for "spamming" you all with these bass covers, just trying to put my name out there!

Ok I will see if I can do that.I like your stuff, keep them conning I say! And thanks! I need to polish off the last one, and fancy up the fills a little bit. But I whipped that one up the day of. You should write some riffs of your own. The covers are good, but you could hold your own in a funk style project.

Wow that's quite a compliment, I appreciate that so much!
And man all you can do is just make the music your own, no need to polish or make anything fancy, make it you that's what's most important!
Can't wait to hear your stuff fam!

Haha! I get what you mean. But I like fancy!:) I guess what I mean is more intricate like, I like that kinda stuff. Nothing wrong with simplicity, but I like fancy triplets and things like that, somtimes i overcluter the overall composition, but I'm getting better about that:)

Here's a new video guys and keeping posting all of yours, love watching each and everyone of them!!!

Also you never know what could happen, i just got featured on notreble.com so nothing is ever impossible!

I just read that, I'm so happy for you! I also agree with when you say, "you don't need fancy fills or slap to be a good bassist." However,I'm a big fan of that stuff :)and that's the beauty of it, I don't expect everybody to feel the need to take it to the limits of technique in order to be good. You're a great example
Of that funk$tar! Funk on I say, and again, I was so happy when I found that article( I was just browsing the websight and happens upon it) it made my day! :)

Oh no man if you like that stuff that's great, don't take my opinion too serious because I'm nobody! lol
And the fact that I made your day has made mine, that's why life is worth living to make others happy.
I appreciate the kind compliments as well, just know that the thing that makes us all so special is just being ourselves and I couldn't be any happier when I see someone who is comfortable in their skin.
Thanks again!

No problem! I find a great deal of inspiration in other young people like me (I'm 19 so I think you're even younger than me!) who are serious about what playing bass really is, which is meant to include a great deal of humble attitude, which in the past I've had issues with. (ego trips and what not) another thing I read was somone assuming you were bad because you are self taught. You know who else is self taught? Les Claypool. Nuf said:headphone:
