Just played two games of Houdini. Looks and sounds great; definitely some issues.

@BadJazz
There’s a brand new Monster Bash remake at Jackalope (Houdini is gone). Plays awesome, no issues worth mentioning. Straight 50 cents. I’d forgotten how much fun MB is.

As a kid, I liked to go to arcades just to watch people play the games. I've never been particularly good at them.
I stumbled across Nitro Pinball on Facebook. They have a bunch of cool pinball games; pricey but very cool. The ones that interest me the most are Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], and [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]!
Long time ago, I used to play a lot. One place I played frequently had a table where you would get free games by reaching point values. I could play all afternoon on a quarter.
Recently I happened in to a place that has a Ms PacMan table. I was late getting out of there.
Sadly, they have gone the way of the Betamax, the 8 Track, and the dial phone. Too bad, they are a lot of fun. Sorry, but electronics are not nearly as fun as all the flashing lights, the bells dinging, and trying to nudge the ball withing tripping Tilt sensor.
That is interesting, but I never see them anywhere.Pinball has had a major resurgence in the past decade plus. It's no longer a one horse race for Stern. American Pinball, Spooky Pinball, Dutch pinball (defunct for now), Zidware, Chicago Gaming Company (they make new versions of classic pinballs), Jersey Jack Pinball, etc.
Point replays never left pinball, nor did match replays (or specials, or replays for high scores). Tilting is still a thing, but pinballs since the 80s have had warnings, so you can really push the edge on tilts. The new generation of machines have tremendous improvements in depth and playability. Star Wars, Batman 66, Monster Bash, Black Knight Sword of Rage, etc. Give 'em a shot!
I LOVED that game! My grandfather owned a Trailways bus station that had a Kiss pinball machine.
After bass and beer, playing pinball is my top hobby/money drain. Got into it a couple of years ago and play at least a couple of times a week. Getting pretty good, too.
Just wondering if anyone else out there loves to play? Do you all own any of your own tables? Post pics if you do!
