Hi MglMatador,

First of all, thanks for going to the effort to design this preamp.

I'm capable of building one, but would be completely out of my depth in designing one and I don't think I'm alone in that regard.

Is there any chance of you posting the latest schematics please?

I'm keen to build one (I can do my own boards), but would like to have a complete set of schematics to check the build against.

I think some of the schematics in your previous posts are no longer available and it would be great to have complete set to check a build against.

I'd like to stir this pot up.

as new member to talkbass,
I've set upon a father/brother multi-instrument first build for the ages. (My father as the Master Carpenter and the Brothers the Musicians)

I've also recently discovered a local Hackerspace along with some brilliant friends I was hoping to to take the DIY down to the electronics.

I think I just found more than a starting point...

I'm going to show it to some people (who are smarter than me) and drop the 25$ to build whats here.

I'd be happy to pick this up, but the details of the final rev weren't publicized as far as I can tell (just the board layout). In particular, I don't have all the component values for the sweepable mid circuit. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out, but I'd like to hear it from The Man.

I've PMd MglMatador and I'm waiting for a reply. He has email from this site disabled. Is anyone reading this in touch with him?

Hi all, I still pop in here occasionally. I went down the rabbit hole with microphone designs over at GroupDIY so I've had precious little time to spend on bass and/or bass preamps.

I can help out as time permits: remembering back a few years ago I had half a dozen preamp boards made, however they contained several layout errors so I didn't fully populate them (ground traces were missing, etc).

Also, the midrange control is missing a bias resistor, so it won't function at all on the boards I made.

In any case, let me know what you need and I'll post it.
