TBC active preamp

I recently bought a TBC JJ400 bass that has an active preamp. The previous owner cut a couple of wires to disable the active side, and use the pickups as passive only. The cut wires are a red and a green single pair cable coming from the power side of the preamp.
If anyone knows where these wires connect to, or has one of these basses and can send me a picture of the control cavity, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I'm not sure they all use the same setup, but I'll get some pics of the insides of mine. To be honest, I've been considering replacing the preamp, mine seems to be rather weak.

bholder... thanks a lot. I've heard that about the preamp, but want to hear it myself. I may wind up putting a Bartolini preamp and pickups in it. I picked it up for $100, so I figure even if I have to change all the electronics, I'm still ahead of the game.
