I was walking up the road the other day to fetch the cats when a strange feeling came over me.
It must have been getting late because I had just noticed the maid was gone, she left dirt on the front step again.
Meanwhile in the garage a terrible thing had just occurred.
Quite fearful of the event I ran from there never to return.

I proclaim no # but rather a “number” that will hopefully please my troubled soul to a place of deep salvation.

You see for it is this “number” that was left by that dam maid and her everlasting carelessness for our world.

I am but one never to return.

Okay your number is #number

THE precise nature of the 'fourth G' has sparked a new round of speculation among smartphone host bodies.

Whatever 4G is will be launched in September and experts have warned that many 3G shiny things could be abandoned or more likely placed in a bag with a brick at the bottom and thrown into a river.

Previous theories that the latest G stands for 'Gandalf' or that it is simply a letter 'G' made from wood that you wear as a pendant have been dismissed.

But iPhoneist Wayne Hayes said: "I think the 4G will mean I'll be able to phone famous people from throughout history, but I'm hoping it will give me the power of invisibility.

"I want to go on record as saying I will use my new G for good rather than evil, whatever it turns out to be. With four Gs comes great responsibility."

The forum MyShinyThing.com has been awash with theories about the new G, with suggestions ranging from increased sexual potency to the ability to create real-time in-message message messages.

One user, Sheeple69, claims to already have 4G working on a phone his father bought in America, but when challenged said it was at his nan's house and he had signed a privacy agreement with NASA.

It is hoped the launch of a new G will boost the economy as new shiny things are purchased to accommodate all available Gs, with 17 more Gs to be introduced over the next two years.

Hayes added: "I can't remember a time when my phone didn't have Gs but I'm sure that when it has four I will finally, truly be happy."

4G is so ten minutes ago. I'm on to the new 3H with onboard wetware. When my I get the bandages off my head I can start using the shiny new precient feature. It will call people before I realize I need to call them. It also knows to answer and say rude things to people I don't like.

I hacked the Pentagon and got 102N on my iPod, it wasn't supposed to come out for another eight milliseconds!! It has a beautifully intuitive UI that tells me what I will be thinking five minutes from now. It also has a Facebook app that doesn't crash!

It was a great summer, the lake was so beautiful on that day, glistening like a mirror that reminded me of my childhood.
Franko had just left for the day to go fishing and I wondered what I would make of that glorious day.
The sound of silence had never been so bleak, it was just too quiet.

So with that I rose from my chair, leaped from that rustic old cabin and into town I went.
On my way I was approached by a man claiming he had locked his keys in his car and was desperate for my assistance.
He looked frantic as though he had reached his wits end only to find me walking down the lane.
I told him that he could walk to town with me and that I would happily show him to bob's (the local lock smith)
Upon arrival, Bob was happy to help and I was on my way once again.

I was excited to see that the new flower shop I had been waiting on to open for months was finally open!
It made me happy to know that when Franko had returned from fishing there would be a magnitude of beautiful new flowers adorning our tired old cabin.

I was also delighted to find that this shop was not only offering flowers of every possible verity but that they also had a conjoined pottery shop and where making some quite exquisite vases.

It was in that moment that someone uttered the word oven and I then realized what I had done.
I had left the oven on!

Life Ceased to be as I fell to my knees and wept the forgetful nature of my mind.

The small diamond in Diana’s nose reflected the lights from oncoming traffic. Her pickup moved slowly north on route 160. Hot air rushed through the truck past her damp brown arms. It was past 9 pm and still hot enough to make a rattlesnake sweat. Her long brown ponytail fluttered towards the open window as she shifted into third gear. Her leg clung to the seat as she let out the clutch.
Up the road a lonesome hitchhiker heard her shifting gears. An overture of crickets took his mind off his problems. No job, no girlfriend and nowhere to go. Tonight he threw his sleeping bag and a few clothes into a duffle and walked out to the highway. Rusty Dalrymple didn’t know where he was going; his only plan was to get away. He stuck out his thumb when the old Dodge pickup approached. The dusty old truck slowed down as it drew near.
Diana saw Rusty standing under a streetlight. His messy red hair hung past the collar of an old black cowboy shirt. His thin waist had problems holding up a pair of faded jeans, scuffed black boots seemed to grow out of the dusty street. It was the sad, lost expression that caught her attention. She had always had a soft spot for stray dogs. The truck glided to a stop just past Rusty.
“Where you headed scruffy?”
“North.”
“Me too, hop in.”
Rusty tossed his duffle in the truck bed and stepped up into his ride. He watched as Diana gracefully moved the column shifter through the gears. Just the sight of her gave him hope. The cutoffs and sleeveless shirt looked good on her trim figure. Large brown eyes anchored her angular face. No makeup diluted her beautiful brown skin.
He hoped it was going to be a long ride.

I was in the town crusin'
I had no idea how much gas I was usin'
I stopped at the light,
Started to doze
Next thing you know I got my finger in my nose
I gotta boogie
I gotta boogie
I gotta boogie on my finger and I can't shake it off.

( 1984 - Highlands high band room - David Eshelman, Bill Carol and Steve Padilla ) Good times ...
