The dual 750's make sense and I had thought of that as well - still cheaper than the Blacksmith, and you have the flexibility to run each amp differently if so desired. That said, man there is just something so addictive about all the stupid power - I feel like a bug being drawn into the light zapper... can't.. look.. away... :)

... And the 2 ohm load, too! I may still wind up with one of these someday! After all, I could eliminate the second power cord and the effects loop jumper cable. And think of what I could do with the extra 100 watts ...

I've had a reasonable amount of time to spend with both the Blacksmith and the RH750 lately. If I was using multiple RS410 cabinets (or a pair of Berg HT322s, or several Ampeg 810s for example) I would certainly use the Blacksmith. It's beautifully finished, sexy as hell and I love the soft white LEDs.

However, unless the additional power/headroom and the ability to drive a 2ohm load are major considerations, I would recommend the RH750 without any hesitation. That's not to sell the Blacksmith short... but I really can't see anyone that isn't on a serious tour needing more than a single RH750.
