I'm looking at buying the new TC Electronic K210 cab (along with a TC Electronic BH550 head), has anyone tried these cabs yet?
Not sure whether to go for the k212 or k210 is there that much difference in bass response?

Cheers

I have been using the RS 2x10 cabs (1 or 2 of them depending on the situation) and I can count on one hand (with fingers left over) the number of times i wanted more, louder or bigger bass sound. I just ordered my K cabs and this time i went with the 2x10 over 2x12 combination. There are times that I only want to haul 1 cab but don't want to sacrifice low end so I think the 2x12 will help in this instance.

Hi there,
Have you found the lack of a tweeter control problematic? Do you need to tame the high end at all?
Thank you,
Brent

I've had the K210 for about 2 weeks now. Taken it on 2 gigs so far and all I can say is it delivers in a big way. Lightweight, punchy, lots of low end and to my ears quite modern sounding. I'm planning on pairing it with a K212 to start earthquakeschool with. I thought the lack of a tweeter control would be an issue but the cab doesn't give you those glassy highs and realistically a slight adjustment on the amps treble gives it that just right tone.

I'll ask you the same question then. Do you find yourself needing a tweeter control? Do you use any overdrive or distortion?
Thanks a bunch!
Brent

Actually no. The cabs are very musical with the driver to tweeter ratio. When you make adjustments on the head it seems like it affects the correct speakers (if that makes any sense).
