In the meantime, since the other threads got closed down, I did want to pass along a quote from Uffe which confirms the 236-watt peak output of the RG750, but explains (perhaps) why is would be perceived as being louder than the RH450:

They are good pre-amps with small monitoring amps built in. Too expensive though.
