TC electronics tone print

I think the compressor is great.

My favorited TonePrints:

Subtle Comp' N' Drive
TubeDrive
A Little Grit
Creature Baby
The Grind
Tube Warmth & Comp

I do have the footswitch, and just a heads up.
I thought it would allow me to store more toneprints (maybe I didn't read...)
but it is Mute, Toggle On/Off, Switch (2 stored TonePrints)

I really enjoy its nice to have access to effects that I wouldn't use enough to purchase in pedal form.

I have the 250, and it's pretty decent (especially for the money) head. The toneprint is kinda cool, but most of them are nothing I'd ever use, and some of them don't load at all. It's not super loud, but would be gig worthy for smaller jobs, maybe bigger ones with FOH support. I bought it as a backup & rehearsal rig. It pales compared to my Tecamp Puma 900- but given the difference in price spread, it not fair to compare. Get it, I bet you'll like it

I have no illusions of being able to play an arena with it :) I'm getting it mostly to pair with a 1x10 as I'm moving into a smaller space and neither of my combos will fit but I might make a 2x15 cab as well to replace my 1x15 combo I'm using now for rehearsals and gigs since I have good FOH support.
Since you have the head, does the gain switch effect the tone much?

Darn, I only have passives, on one of my amps the active pad kills the tone.

I keep my pickups down a bit, don't boost much on the preamp (9 volt) and play with fairly soft touch- so I'm probably in the range of a harder handed guy with a hot passive bass.

I got the BH-250 and the 2x12 kcab. More than hung in w/two guitars, drums and keyboards. Even if you dont use but a couple of the tone prints, theres enough there to give you some variety right away, which I liked.

Hiya man, as that an 8ohm cab?
I was thinking of getting a BH800 to use with my orange 4 x 10 cab which is 8ohms and I was wondering if the BH 800 will be loud enough to be heard alongside a drummer with a drummer with heavy hands?
Well that's for at home

I use the BH800 for gigs with an 8ohn ampeg 410prh and it works awesome!

And is super loud you can always use a tone print like tubewarmth
