TC Vortex mini VOLUME DROP

I have found out that i can only use it for intros, because of the volume drop. Any flangers out there that works better?

I went from Vortex to BF-3 because I preferred the "swooo0000OOOO00000oooosh" of the Boss to the detuned "BANGaRANGaRANG" warble of the Vortex. As good as the Toneprint feature is, I could only get a couple of usable sounds out of the Vortex. So in my opinion, yes, there are better pedals. The Boss BF-3 is one of them.

I had the full size one, not the mini, but never had such an issue. Do you have the drop in all modes and multiple Toneprints? I ran min with the John Petrucci Toneprint most of the time, and never had any problem.

I use the full version and also never have had a problem. It could be that the installed preset has the output level lowered.

Have you downloaded the Toneprint Editor? If you have, plug your pedal into your computer and load in a new Toneprint- and check the output level again. With the editor and the ability to load other presets, the TC will do everything you could want a Flanger to do.

I use the Mini and don't have a problem, in fact I have it set for a volume boost when engaged so I piss off the guitar players
