I am looking to take one or two lessons on some technique stuff (French bow hold, posture, etc). I’ve been playing for 15 years but haven’t taken too many lessons. Does anyone know any good teachers in the SF Bay area, preferably the east bay? Sorry if this is redundant, I tried to search to see if it had already been asked and didnt find anything.

Double Bass Teachers in SF Bay Area?

Not in the East Bay, but up in Marin, I can definitely recommend Doug Miller, who was my first upright teacher when we both were living in Seattle. A wonderful player, a super nice guy, and a good teacher. He is, however, a German bow player.
