Hey Ant, I recently fell into a teaching position. All the guys at the Guitar Shop where it's at think I'll do great. A few problems though I'm a musician who mainly focuses on bass. So I'm not the best lead guitarist(very far from it). A few of these kids that I'm teaching are gifted in music and Its been one of those hit the ground running jobs and hope you don't trip on a landmine type jobs. Well to get to the point my teachers in life have been very influential in my development Musically and Worldly. I remember most of them fondly (There was the case of my High School English teacher, and her 10 page papers due monthly.) Well I'm just looking for advice on teaching, and being able to help these kids as much as I can to develop their talents. So advise on teaching?

As a student of Bassology, I can tell you that Anthony has at least two ways (usually more) to explain a concept. Simply because not all students will learn in the same manner.

After you have a student for while you'll know how that student learns.

I've been with Anthony for long enough that he knows the manner in which I'll understand a new concept. But in the beginning it might have taken that third or fourth explanation for me to grasp the concept.

Anthony can explain this better. However, be patient as I know he's pretty busy with camp and tour preparation.

Yeah, we got it mastered; what a difference. I think there's something to that mastering stuff. lol.

At last practice we started talking about dividing up the pie. That was fun.
