Hello all. I recently picked up a v2 tech 21 pedal. I was trying out the suggested settings in the manual. What's your favorite setting you've concocted?

SansAmp BDDI v.2... That's one of the four Tech 21 preamp/DI's I use.

Flat with a slight bump in the drive works nice. I tend to eq from my bass. Although, the times I’ve used it, I have found myself tweaking the mids up or down, depending on the room.

For me, the biggest plus with that pedal is the phantom power. Great for plugging direct into a soundboard.

i've been rocking my V1 and MXR bass DI to control the mids they work well together i drop the treble to 10 o clock set the bass and level just a touch past noon on the BD and boost the mids to 1-2 on the MXR

Try keeping the blend really low like between 8 o'clock and noon. Then just mess around with the drive control. You can get a good clean tone with some hair on it sound that way. It also effectively adds some parallel compression. Too much effected signal blended in gets lost in the mix pretty quickly.

The manual is a little more than I would run mine. I run the blend less than their suggested setting. Just use your ears !

I've a SansAmp BDDI V1 and a V2.
The V2 is my always on pedal, the V1 lives in my cord bag for a, "just in case backup"

(This works for my ears and the country/rock group I'm with.)
I run the V2 set clean, bass and treble rolled down to get a boost in the mids.
It's placed in front of my main gigging head, a G.K. MB800 Fusion, also set clean.

Really like the presence, clarity, limiting it adds to every head I've used it in front of.

Here's the settings I use. After reading this thread I do want to try more drive and less blend though, I'm interested in how that will sound.
