Tech21 RBI vs RPM

I have the RBI and am reading up on the RPM, is there a big difference between the two preamps? If so, what is the big difference? I mean can you get the same tones out of the RPM from an RBI?

Hi There,
I'm sure many will chime in.
The RPM has a semi-parametric midrange and no presence control. Many have said it has more gain(fuzzier) than the RBI but it is a darker, less sparkly preamp than the RBI. The RBI has a fixed midrange at 1K I believe.Hope this helps,

Thanks Brent. I bought one from Musiciansfriend. Going to try it out and see how i like it. I heard some people actually use both at the sametime. I should find out in a few days.
