Tech21: YYZ vs DI-2112 pedals

Hi everyone
I own the YYZ pedal and it’s great. What I’m curious to know is whether the DI-2112 pedal would offer any more *sound* improvements over and above the YYZ pedal?
I am aware of the cosmetic differences between the two, and being able to route two separate XLR signals etc etc, but essentially does the DI-2112 SOUND better?

The YYZ was designed as a streamlined GED-2112 in a stomp box format. The DI-2112 has more variability than the YYZ. I wouldn't say it sounds better, it's just capable of getting more sounds. The YYZ is nice if you have a rig you really like and want to add the Geddy "flavor" from time to time. The DI-2112 is meant to be your primary tone shaping preamp.
