Technical Death Metal bassists

I listen to alot of technical death metal and I havn't seen a thread like this so just wanted to know what some of your guys favorite bass players that play this genre. If you could name the bassist/band. And maybe some underground tech death bands that maybe someone doesn't know about. And if you do comment lets not call anything wank if we could.

My favorites-No specific order
Stephan Fimmers/Necrophagist
Scott Plummer/Viraemia
Jeroen/Obscura
Mike Flores/Origin
Brandon Giffin/ex-The Faceless
Past Spawn Of Possession Bassists allthough I'm sure Erlend Caspersen will fit in just fine.

You might not know this one
Ioann Komkov/Monumental Torment

I like the tech death bassists who sweep and tap alot!

Death metal? No. Technical? Absolutely. You need to experience the all round awesomeness of Dick Lovgren, Meshuggah.

I dig this. I saw a video of someone covering "Bleed" fingerstyle...it's part of what made me vow that I would make my fingers move that fast. I'm almost there! For a while it was the rhythmic complexity that I had to overcome before I could even start thinking about speed. Their patterns in that song destroy the traditional concept of four, but the drummer's hands stick to the basic concept of four most of the time. That while machine-gunning the rhythms in his feet. Love it!

Bleed with fingers? For the full duration of the song? I doff my cap to you sir. Dead right though, that band just nail those rhythms, anchored by the machine that is Tomas Haake. And they do it live too.

Please please don't forger to check out the french technical death metal band "Link Removed". For me it's the best TDM band with a huge talent for composing.
The bassist is named Benoit Claus, I met him recently at the last show here in the place I live. He is currently using a 5 string Yamaha bass for which he got a custom 36 inch Neck made by a french instrument builder named (as far as I can remember) Lucia. That neck is a beauty, the first five positions are fretted, the rest is all fretless. Great sounding bass all together!
After summer they are bringing out a new album, and the guitarists and bassist will get custom instruments from Lucia.

Enjoy!

I'll state the obvious: Alex Webster. He is one of my biggest influences, and one of my favorite bassists from any genre. I think Orion from Behemoth is very underated. I love threads like this, now I've got a bunch of new bands to check out.
