Double Bass Technique inquiry

Yes, low strings are a common cause of rattle and the bow will accentuate it.
Also, check top ends of strings near nut to make sure there is no build up of dirt. Loosen and clean if necessary.
Raise bridge if possible as advised. Otherwise take to luthier.
Luthier may advise you to install an adjustable bridge if you don't already have one, and/or may shoot the fingerboard to eliminate any irregularities which are a common cause of buzzing.
