I am an intermediate bass player, I just wanted to know what people thought about the 2 finger walk technique vs. the 3 finger walk. thank you

Three fingers is great for Steve Harris. Not so much for me.
One, two, and three fingers all lend themselves to differences in cadence or cycling. Blah blah, yeah I know some guys can play sixteenth notes at 300bpm with three fingers in 4/4 totally smooth. I cannot.
I don't see a need for that in my musical future however. I prefer to use two or even one.

Use whichever works best for you for the moment. Its ok to even switch up and to do fingering in ways not taught in proper technique courses. Whatever works best for you is right way.
