Doyle Bramhall II played in our little town of Lancaster, PA on Tuesday night.

As I was headed to the men's room prior to the show, I ran into him in the hall. Super cool guy. My greeting to him was "who do you have playing bass with you tonight?". He seemed to appreciate the question and told me about Ted Pecchio.

He played with Tedeschi Trucks. I'm ashamed to say that I had never heard of him. Dude had major chops. I have a :15 video but the site says it's too big to upload.

If you have a chance to catch the Rich Man tour, do it. It was the best small venue show I've ever seen. Easily.

Saw them in Atlanta last week. I had never heard of him, either. Man, have I been missing out. That dude was killer! And that P bass... serious mojo!

I've learned since then that his dad, Daniel Pecchio, played bass in Glass Harp with Phil Keaggy.

It was indeed one of the best shows I've ever been to. I've been wanting to see DB II for a very long time and I was not disappointed. Everybody in the band is a great player and they all sing well, too. If they come near you don't miss it!
