Tell me I'm wrong!

And the plot thickens! I live in an area totally void of decent techs, (mid-MD/DE area) I emailed my guitarist friend and he suggested I check where the wires meet the PUs, it wasn't that but I double checked the whole wiring system and discovered I put the second wire in the wrong spot.

With that back in it's proper place I plugged it in and got nothing, until I squeezed the micro chip looking pot (which was original pot to come lose) and suddenly I was back where I started! It's not where I want to be but I'm glad to have something. I did notice now when I had my hand on the bridge or bottom strap knob the static seemed to get quieter.

Buy yourself a soldering kit at Radio Shack and YouTube how to solder. You'll be fine. I wouldn't give this to a tech, especially when you can learn something from this.
