Double Bass Ten 2 Amp and extension cabinet off the floor

I've always placed my Acoustic Image Ten2 Amp and Extension cabinet on the floor. Now I would like to try elevating them. Are there any suggestions on what I could use? Also, should I place some kind of material underneath the amp and the extension cabinet in order to capture the full sound of the downward firing speaker?

Try lifting off the floor and see what happens… the whole thing is designed to utilize the coupling with the ground for the low end. When you lift it, they start to sound anemic AF. Would not advise. I had some success flipping my Coda over on its back, though, downward firing cone face up!

put the ex on the floor upside down. the front firing speaker still couples with the floor, and the upfiring speaker is your monitor, and it also couples with the ceiling, and a back wall if there's one behind you. best live sound i've ever had and could hear myself
