Terrible fret buzz

Just changed my strings on a fender jazz bass and i have terrible fret buzz around the 3rd fret across all 4 strings. Idk much about this. Unable to record bc its so severe the pickups are picking it all up. I used to get my basses set up but its really difficult to find someone who is legit great at setting a bass up.

It has been particularly hot here so that could have something to do with it.

A few questions first. Are they the same kind and gauge of strings as you had before? Heat is one thing, but has it been kept in a humid environment?

It isn't unusual for a bass to need setup after a string change, particularly to different strings. Also high, or low humidity can also require some setup. So first check you setup, action height, relief etc. There is a good sticky post at the top of this section. Also check if our third fret s low or you fourth fret is high.
