From what I've witnessed for the most part people who constantly are criticizing usually can not bring anything to the table them self's,they can present all the credentials that there is to bring and personally to me it doesn't mean nothing.I could care less what any one has to say about my Bass playing or the music I may create because I am doing music for me first and those who dig it,I am greatly appreciative.

it's almost like some one doing a BS story on life in prison and spending a night in prison clearly knowing that tomorrow they will be getting out.Some times one has to live or be about what they are so critical of.

again most Kat's who dog out others some times,when they meet the Bassist that they dog so well,they end up doing a bunch of A kissin and BSing about how much they dig ___________ Bass playing and claiming to own all said Bass players recordings.

i dont dig tetsuo's playing or this video. it pretty much sums up what i dont like about slap. its like the anti-marcus/larry thing.

if saying this on the internet makes me sound like a "hata",jealous, or someone who probably cant bring anything to the table, then thats cool wont change my tastes at all and i wont lose any sleep

Can you be more specific about what it is that you don't like about mentioned technique ?

If a particular technique is not ones thing,that's kool but at least bring something that is just as good if not better.Like Grooving,composing,a different technique,producing etc.


Anthony Jackson or Rocco Prestia are not at all known as Slappers but they can Groove like no other.

i like slap. i like it quite a bit. theres nothing wrong with the technique. but, i dont like the sound of tetsuo slapping. theres the white boy spaz kind of slapping ala flea and then theres nasty thumping ala larry or marcus. im a fan of the latter.
