Thank you! They call it Antique Brownburst. There is also some "blonding (not sure what else to call it) in the ebony of the fingerboard. This bass is honestly glorious. LOL

I'd love to say I did this myself, but alas, it came to me this way. Bass is much older than I am (JUN 62 neck stamp). Guy who had it before me gigged it like crazy for years and years. Was in a band that got signed but ultimately didn't become big. Apparently crazy girlfriend broke a window with it and threw it in a dumpster.
